After another exciting race,
Jimmie Johnson raced hard to the end to clinch the checkered flag at the Autism Speaks 400 in Dover, DE. This is Jimmie's fourth win at Dover. Hot off the heals of that victoy is the Prelude to the Dream Race that will take place on June 3, 2009 at the
Eldora Speedway and will feature some of the greatest names from NASCAR, including
Jimmie Johnson,
Jeff Gordon,
Tony Stewart, who also happens to own the Eldora Speedway, Carl Edwards, Kevin Harvick, Kasey Kahne, and Matt Kenseth will battle to victory lane.
The race will be televised via
HBO and all proceeds will support four very important charities, all military-themed:
Wounded Warrior Project,
Intrepid Fallen Hero Fund,
Operation Homefront, and
Fisher House. The four charities all focus on the needs of severely injured military personnel or fallen heroes and their families.
