Great BMW Team in Charlotte at Hendrick BMW

I was able to meet with Steve and Frank on Saturday. The team there is GREAT!. I did purchase a vehicle, which I love by the way... and had what I must call, one of the most pleasant car purchasing experiences of my life! Buckle up, the 1 Series is almost here


The next BMW legend, the 1 Series Coupe, represents the core BMW philosophies of pure performance and premium design. By combining sporty rear-wheel-drive dynamics, agile handling, powerful engines, and seating for four, the 1 Series Coupe will reinvent the niche that the legendary BMW 2002 created.


On sale in the spring of 2008, the 1 Series Coupe will be available in two versions: 128i and 135i. Powered by a 3.0-liter, 230 horsepower Inline-6 engine that generates 200 lb-ft of torque, the 128i Coupe will feature Valvetronic valvetrain management and aluminum/magnesium construction - core elements of BMW's Efficient Dynamics. The powerful 135i Coupe features BMW's twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Inline-six cylinder engine that produces 300 horsepower and an incredible 300 lb-ft. of torque from as low as 1,400 rpm. In typical BMW style, the new BMW 1 Series Coupe transmits the power of the engine to the rear wheels. This design concept and configuration - engine at the front, drive wheels at the rear - guarantees optimum traction, good weight distribution front-to-rear, excellent directional stability, and predictable handling.


The new 1 Series Coupe combines unique, dynamic, and unmistakable design elements with a powerful and muscular body. The innovative interior design incorporates high-quality and sophisticated trim elements with luxurious upholstery and color choices.


This authentic performance coupe comes loaded with a raft of safety features. No less than six airbags come standard within the new BMW 1 Series Coupe for optimum protection of the car's occupants. The advanced frontal airbags are activated in stages in relation to impact severity while the side airbags integrated into the sides of the front seat backrests reduce the risk of injury at chest and hip levels in side impact situations. A Head Protection System (HPS) includes side curtain airbags fitted in the roof lining to protect both the occupants on the front seats and the passengers at the rear.

I bought the BMW

Hi David,


Thank you for emailing. I did purchase a BMW yesterday from your dealership- I really appreciate the prompt email response from Mary Beth- she was very nice to deal with. Frank King was my salesman. I think that he is the most outstanding car salesman that I have ever dealt with, and he was the sole reason that I bought the BMW. I had test drove a Volvo XC-90 the day before and own/love my Volvo. I have also looked at the Mercedes dealership on South Blvd before coming to you. Frank presented all the stats, options, safety, warranty advantages to BMW. He laid it out in a way that was easy to understand- after that, it was clear that the BMW was the best option for my needs. He is very easy to deal with and extremely efficient- I really appreciate the fact that you hire true professionals.


I have asked Frank to send me business cards and info. I am a Real Estate Broker in North and South Carolina and would like to refer my clients in need of a car to Frank.
I was very impressed with your sales staff- I hope that you recognize Frank for his abilites and excellence in representing your dealership. I copied him on this email to show my appreciation.

BMW Excellent Customer Service - White Bow Treatment

Things couldn't have gone better on Friday night.

The car arrived at 6:30 and looked fabulous with the white bow! We had it parked curbside, right next to where our party was seated. We teased all evening about the lucky stiff who was getting a new BMW. For dessert the manager brought out covered plates... Jeff's contained the hat and key on the BMW fob (Thank You!!). He was stunned into silence. It was great! He was totally shocked! Needless to say, he LOVES the car. We enjoyed driving it all weekend.

Thank you again for helping me pull this together - it's been a GREAT experience.
